Ozoro town mainly practice or are use to only sport which is football(soccer). Over the years Ozoro has produced quality players good enough to represent the country (Nigeria) at any level of football, but till today not a single player have left Ozoro to play for bigger clubs, all with the name that they don't have people to connect them.
Players in Ozoro town believes that Ozoro is blessed with good football pitch compare to other town and cities around it, they have good standard field of which they practise on, other town around it normally travel to Ozoro to play their big matches. All the pitch at Ozoro are well leveled with green grasses, even visitors alway admire and praises them.
I will recommend almost half of Ozoro players to any Manager that want to start up a new team or are interested in signing new, good and quality players for his club.
Overs the years Ozoro players has keep on practicing and hoping that one day luck will shine at them, Ozoro players play good quality football that will interest everyone, in fact on normal day the field will feel up to the brim when little children, let me say grade 8 years are playing game or match.
The only major competition been played at Ozoro is an annual competition called Inter Quater competition. It has been the only competition been played in Ozoro town for a very long now. It is host my any one who volunteer to pay the money for the competition. Most of the player likes and enjoy playing the competition because it is the opportunity they have to show their talent why others hate or complains because they want other bigger games, they want to show the world who thwy are, and what they can offer.

Farming in Ozoro

Ozoro is the head quarters of the Isoko North L.G.A. Delta State, Nigeria.
Farming in Ozoro town started the very first day Ozoro town came in to existence, infact history have it that the founder of Ozoro town was a great farmer. He covers all the aspect of farming from hunting, fishing, etc and was very good in rearing of Animals like cattle, goat, sheep, pig and so on.
He wife was also a great and strong farmer, history have it that she is the reason why people of Ozoro do farm to this day. To end it all the town was name after her, instead of her husband Opute who founded the town.
Ozoro was formerly know or called a village but now due to his population and other commercial activities done on it, it is gradually growing in to a big town.
The land is so good and fertile for agriculture and for rearing of Animal, before its farm produce was only sell between Ozoro town but now every produce in Ozoro town goes wide in Nigeria.
20years before now, only few people knew little or nothing about Ozoro, but now everybody both in delta state, and the whole of Nigeria, even some other Africa countries know the town Ozoro.
